A small Intel workstation with the cards on an external PLX 88096 switch board. It works for the VRAM unlock; the 64 GB BAR1 and P2P are where it struggles.

Known issues
Warning With four cards on one PLX board and two independent 750 W PSUs (each feeding two cards, power limit 175 W), all four cards and the PLX board lost power at once under large prompt-processing jobs and needed 10 seconds unplugged before working again. reala sees the same with 9 cards on three 750 W PSUs. Suspects: one PSU tripping on a transient and taking the switch board down, or the PLX chip overheating. Source: @replacedriver47, 2026-10-05
