Every recipe, platform report and unlock carries one status badge, and any single fact on any page may carry one too
({{Status|Theory}}). The badge tells a reader at a glance how far to trust it.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Proven | Reproduced by a second person, or by Ivan on his own hardware, with numbers. |
| Reported | One person's post with numbers or a clear result. |
| Theory | An idea nobody has tested. Theories feed the testing board. |
| Contested | People disagree. The page shows both sides, each with its source. |
| Warning | Something that damaged hardware or lost data. Read before you try it. |
How a page becomes Proven
Nobody sets Proven by hand. The forms only offer Reported, Theory, Contested and Warning.
- Someone posts a result: a recipe, platform report or unlock, with
tested_byset to whoever ran it. - Someone else runs it on their own card and presses Confirm on your own card in the page's infobox. That opens
- Form:Confirmation and creates a confirmation page under the original page, with the result (Reproduced, Partly
- reproduced or Did not reproduce), the card variant and their numbers.
- As soon as the page has a confirmation with result Reproduced whose author differs from
tested_by,- the page shows Proven, and All recipes and All platforms list it as Proven.
A confirmation always records the person who saves it: the wiki refuses a confirmation saved under someone else's name. Imported Discord results that already had a second reproduction get their confirmation at import time, credited to the second poster.
"Did not reproduce" and "Partly reproduced" stay visible in the infobox. If they pile up, change the page's status to Contested and say what differs.
Credits
Every imported fact ends with a credit line, {{Source|handle|YYYY-MM-DD|Discord message link}},
for example Source: @mountains, 2026-10-12. See Contributing.
