What people report
- _kanorin asked about rev 1.0 / 3.0 and could not find Resizable BAR documentation. segmond has 8 GPUs (not CMPs) on a rev 1 with no problems apart from slow POST and a broken SlimSAS PCIe slot; impactic has used a rev 1.1 for months with no issues. Source: @_kanorin, 2026-10-23

Source: @impactic, 2026-10-23 - Miséricorde's price/performance pick for 4 cards: MZ32-AR0 (about 2300 RMB) plus a 48-core Rome such as the 7K62, about 450 to 650 USD for board and CPU, or 500 to 550 USD on Taobao. On 2026-10-18 he compared the board at about 2000 RMB with 1700 RMB and up for an X99-E WS class PLX board, and called buying EPYC the easier route. Rome with 48 cores still gives full 8-channel bandwidth and 128 lanes. Source: @wakeupmbrc1, 2026-10-16

Notes
- Fourteen cards on one board means switches or risers off the SAS/SlimSAS ports; the layout was not described. See Risers and bifurcation.
- Status note: zorg33's 14-card report is the only one with CMP cards on this board; nobody else confirmed CMPs on it, so it stays Reported.
