x8/x8 BIOS mod
NA-DEGEN-GIRL/wrx90-bios-mod is an experimental, AI-assisted BIOS modification that adds the "PCIE X8X8 Mode" bifurcation option for slots 1 to 5 and 7 to this board on BIOS 1317, without downgrading to the older 9936 BIOS that has it. Useful when the board is a few slots short for a multi-card build. - Observed so far: on one board, USB BIOS FlashBack accepted the image and it booted to Setup with the x8/x8 menu visible (2026-10-20).
- Not verified: x8/x8 actually selected and saved, two-device link negotiation, GPU P2P, inference, long-term stability.
- Warning The modified image can leave the board unbootable and FlashBack recovery is not guaranteed. The ASUS capsule signature is invalid after modification. The repo has no license file. Do not run its scripts without reading them.
