The board at cmp.wiki/board is where testing tasks and ongoing work live. Anyone can read it; sign in with Discord to take or move cards.
Two projects
- CMP testing: columns Wanted, Testing, Needs second confirmation, Proven. A card is a task
anyone can take ("Confirm Gen2 on a Dell R740", "Test recipe X on 10 GB"), and it links to its wiki page.
- Dev and research: columns Idea, Researching, In progress, Blocked, Done. One card per effort
(unlock and driver work, engine ports, VBIOS and firmware research, tooling), naming who is on it and the repo or thread.
Taking a card
- Sign in on the board with Discord and move the card to Testing with your name on it.
- Run the test and write the result on the wiki page the card links to: a recipe, platform report or unlock, or a
- confirmation on an existing page.
- Move the card on. A result that needs a second person goes to Needs second confirmation.
When a card reaches Proven
Only the board's managers (Ivan and the admins) move a card into Proven, once the wiki page shows Proven (see Status taxonomy). The result lives on the wiki; the card closes.
